Essential Functions:

  • Act as Field Producer during all Hamilton Tiger-Cats (10 games) and Forge FC (15-18 games)
  • Assist with creating production documents such as scripting, timing, etc.
  • Maintain planning documents for all events
  • Closely work with Corporate Partnerships Department to execute all sold in-game inventory
  • Work alongside all other departments to support their in-game initiatives
  • Support the Creative Services Team with the creation of all game-day content
  • Manage game-day talent such as Event Hosts, DJ, PA Announcer, Mascot, Dance Team
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of department interns
  • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to execute home games and events
  • Develop logistical plans for non-game related events such as Community, Season Seat Holder and Fan Festivals
  • Assist in executing all non-game related events

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Sport Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2-3 years work experience in the sports industry, preferably in a game production or marketing role

Assistant Store Manager, Retail

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for aiding the day-to-day supervision of the flagship retail store including sales, staff, and stock and resource management.  In this role, the individual will be focused on driving top line sales, building an environment in which excellence in customer service is a priority and offering our fans the best shopping experience available.  This individual will bring energy, inspiration and a drive to always be moving the business forward.  That energy and drive will be reflected through communication with the rest of the staff, the fans and be the foundation of the in-store culture.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Assistant Store Manager will help coordinate the day-to-day operations of the store with their primary focus on maximizing sales and profitability. Sales will be driven through the engagement of all customers and by providing best-in-class customer service.
  • Optimize in-store efficiencies and be one of the most visible, day-to-day consumer facing individuals for the organization.
  • Understand and execute the fundamentals of merchandising and sensibly display the merchandise so that it immediately catches the attention of customers.
  • Ensure that the store set-up is clean and the in-store presentation exceeds the expectations of the customers and lives up to the organization’s predefined brand image.
  • Provide product reviews and recommendations to upper management based on customer feedback and sales results.
  • Manage the assets of the store, reduce loss prevention and ensure the security/safety of staff and patrons.
  • Ensure that sufficient inventory levels are maintained, avoid being “out of stock” and capitalize on every sales opportunity.
  • As needed, manage ongoing customer inquiries, feedback and complaints and guarantee every person leaves the store having had a pleasant experience.
  • Assist in the development of team members through staff training and development.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Retail Operations Manager and other members of the senior leadership team.
  • Act as an additional resource for the on-site/in-store execution of Ticketing Department related functions.
  • Utilize the PCI system to fulfill single game ticket requests and report as needed to the Ticketing Department.

Retail Sales Associate

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Retail Sales Associates will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service through the sales of retail merchandise at their assigned outlet.  In this role, our staff will be focused on driving top line sales, strengthening an environment in which customer service is a top priority and offering our fans the best shopping experience available.  Each individual will bring energy, inspiration and a drive to always be the best.  Your passion, energy and excitement will be reflected through your interactions with our fans and is the foundation of our in-store culture.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist customers with locating suitable products, sizes, styles and colours
  • Handling a variety of payment options accurately and in a timely manner through our POS system (ERPLY)
  • Maintenance, merchandising and responsibility for the store location assigned
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through interactions during sales presentations
  • Responds to customer problems with a focus on problem resolution within pre-approved authority limits
  • Seek customer feedback about Tiger-Cats and Forge FC products, services and events
  • Performs other duties as delegated or assigned by the Warehouse/Online Lead, Operations Manager, Director of Corporate Partnerships and Retail and other Senior Management
