The new Season Seat Renewal process has been launched for the 2010 season, please find below a list of frequently asked questions and the corresponding answers. If you don't see the answer to your question here, please don't hesitate to call our Customer Service Team at 905-547-CATS (2287).
Q: Why has the renewal deadline been moved to October?
A: The Ticats are driving for the 2009 playoffs and there is a chance that we could have a home playoff game at Ivor Wynne in November. We have moved the renewal date to October so that we can provide you with one simple invoice that includes both your playoff tickets and your intentions for next season. This date will also allow us to deliver your playoff tickets on time. To ensure that our fans have complete flexibility in the renewal process, we have added two payment plans. The first payment plan is for customers who want to pay by credit card which reduces the down payment to 20% of the price of your seats. It then allows you to spread the payments over 9 months, with the last two payments (40% of the invoice) being paid later than the traditional renewal date. With this payment plan, your tickets will be delivered to you before the final payment is processed on your credit card. The second payment plan is for customers who want to pay by cheque. When paying by cheque you will only need to submit two cheques. The first cheque is the down payment, which is 20% of the price of your seats plus the cost of your 2009 playoff ticket. The deposit cheque should be dated October 23rd. The second cheque that needs to be submitted is the remainder of the balance on your invoice. This cheque will need to be post-dated to March 5th, 2010.
Q: What is happening with Season Seat Pricing?
A: The 2010 prices will be the same as the 2009 prices with one exception, we are lowering the prices in the accessible seating area. Season Seat Holders will also continue to receive a significant savings over individual game ticket purchasers. The Season Seat Holder savings over single game prices range from 21% to 37% depending on the price point. Season Seat Holders always receive the best prices for Tiger-Cats games except in our Group Zone where we will do some special pricing for very large groups.
Q: Is there an early-bird price for 2010?
A: We have not included the early-bird pricing option because we have moved all Season Seat renewals to one date. However, we have improved the two payment plans that allow the customer to spread their payments over 9 months, if they choose to pay by credit card. We also have a cheque payment plan that only asks for a 20% deposit to hold your seats with the balance due on March 5th, 2010.
Q: Do I have to purchase 2010 Season Seats to purchase my 2009 Playoff Tickets?
A: The renewal package has been combined with 2009 playoff tickets for your convenience and to allow the Tiger-Cats to understand if you are going to be renewing your seats for the following year. To ensure that we are providing you with the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art services, we have added the following benefits to your Season Seat renewal package:
You can purchase your 2009 playoff ticket without renewing your Season Seats, however, you will lose your Season Seat Holder privileges after October 31st, 2009.
Q: What happens if the team doesn't have a home playoff game?
A: If the Ticats do not have a home playoff game in the 2009 season and you enrolled in the credit card payment plan, then your card will not be charged. We will only charge your credit card for the 2009 playoffs when a Tiger-Cats home playoff game is confirmed. If you have paid by cheque, your refund will be processed by December 4th, 2009.
Q: Do I have to renew my Season Seats to enter the Season Seat Renewal contests?
