TICATS ANNOUNCE PLANS FOR FAN FESTIVITIES DURING 106th GREY CUP IN EDMONTON
Back by popular demand, Black & Gold Pub Crawl, presented by Coors Light, set to take over three different bars in three days on Grey Cup weekend
With the 106th Grey Cup quickly approaching, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced plans this afternoon for a series of fan parties in Edmonton’s city centre on Grey Cup weekend, from Friday, November 23 to Saturday, November 24.
Back by popular demand for a second consecutive year, the fan-favourite pub crawl format will lead Tiger-Cats fans and CFL fans alike on a social tour across the host city’s downtown core, stopping at popular establishments along the way, with prizes, appearances from Ticats players and alumni, drink specials, and much more.
The free admission Black & Gold Pub Crawl, presented by Coors Light, puts a Ticats twist on the well known ‘pub crawl’ theme, with official team party stops at Mercer Tavern, Central Social Hall and The Canadian Brewhouse.

“After hearing the overwhelmingly positive feedback from CFL fans who made the trip to last year’s Grey Cup in Ottawa, we had no choice but to bring back the pub crawl theme in 2018,” said Tiger-Cats President & COO of Business Operations, Matt Afinec. “Grey Cup weekend is special because it brings football fans together from across the country, regardless of their team allegiance. We look forward to hosting everyone in Edmonton at the end of November.”
