Everything you need to know ahead of Monday’s Labour Day Classic Home Opener

We can’t wait to host you at Tim Hortons Field on Monday for our Labour Day Classic Home Opener!

See below for everything you need to know before heading to the stadium.

ARRIVE EARLY – ALL GATES OPEN AT 11:30 A.M.

Please note, access to public elevators will be reserved for accessibility needs only. Due to current public health restrictions, there is a maximum of two (2) fans per elevator. If you are able to take the stairs, we encourage you to do so.

WHAT YOU NEED TO ENTER THE STADIUM

Proof of Full Vaccination or a Negative Covid Test

Proof of full vaccination (minimum of 14 days prior to game) or receipt of a negative Covid-19 test are required for all fans aged 12 and older attending Tim Hortons Field for a gameday:

  • All fans aged 12 and up

  • Receipt of a negative test 48 hours prior to kickoff (PCR or antigen)

  • Digital PDF or printed copy of government issued vaccination confirmation receipt (minimum of 14 days prior to game)

  • Photo identification

  • Government of Canada approved vaccines only

Please note: If you were vaccinated outside of the province of Ontario or outside of Canada, please provide a digital PDF or printed copy of your government issued vaccination confirmation receipt for your Government of Canada approved vaccine.

ACCESSING YOUR TICKETS

Reminder, all Ticats tickets are mobile for the 2021 season. Click here for a complete mobile ticketing how-to. If you need assistance, please head to  the box office on gameday and a Tiger-Cats ticket representative will assist you.

The box office will open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, as well as at 9 a.m. on gameday. Please note: There will be no print from home option for 2021 Ticats tickets.

PARKING

If you have already purchased parking, remember all parking passes are digital for the 2021 season and can be found in the Ticats All Access app with your game tickets. Click here for a parking and stadium map.

All parking lots open at 7 a.m., Lot F opens at 10 a.m.

GAMEDAY TIMELINE – MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6

11:30 AM | ALL GATES OPEN – Per Tim Hortons Field security protocol, security wanding will be in effect at all stadium gates. Please remember to have your mobile tickets, and proof of vaccination or negative Covid-19 test ready for presentation to reduce wait times to enter. Get to the game early to avoid potential lines closer to the 1 p.m. kickoff! If you have any issues with your tickets on gameday, please stop by the box office and one of our representatives would be happy to assist you.

Please note: No in and out privileges will be granted with the current health and safety protocols at Tim Hortons Field.

1 PM KICKOFF

HALFTIME – Don’t miss the Hamilton punk rock legends The Dirty Nil as they take over Tim Hortons Field at halftime!

POST-GAME – Please remember to exit via the same gate you entered the stadium through. Fans will be directed to exit via the same gate that they used to enter the stadium, a reverse of how they entered. When exiting seats for concessions or washrooms or following the game, fans will be instructed to wait for aisles to clear and follow the instructions provided by ushers to avoid congestion and maintain physical distancing.

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE GAME

PRE-GAME $5 BEER SPECIAL – Enjoy $5 Coors Light 355mL cans and draughts, available from when gates open until 1 p.m., only.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE – Concessions will be 100% cashless for the 2021 season. Purchases will be made using tap with VISA, MasterCard, Debit, and Tiger-Cats/Tim Hortons Field gift cards. Alcohol and food service for all locations will be cut off at the start of the 4th quarter.

JAM OUT WITH DJ CAM B. –  DJ Cam B. will be spinning a live set at the Coors Original Bar all game long!

HALFTIME PERFORMANCE BY THE DIRTY NIL PRESENTED BY WEATHERTECH – Be sure to stay in your seats! Local Hamilton rock band, The Dirty Nil, will be taking over the field at halftime for a unique Labour Day Classic performance, presented by WeatherTech.

COORS LIGHT MOBILE MOUNTAIN – The Mountain called, Tim Hortons Field answered. The Coors Light Mobile Mountain is the ultimate peak retreat, providing refreshment to Ticats fans by bringing the mountains into the Stipley for the Labour Day Classic. Come down and enjoy! Tag @CoorsLightCanada and use hashtag #TheMountainsAreCalling on social media with your best pics.

TIGER-CATS SHOP SPECIAL – Make some noise for Labour Day! Stop by the Tiger-Cats Shop to pick up a Bull Bell for 30% off! The Tiger-Cats Shop is located at Gate 1 and will open at 9 am and other locations around the stadium include; Lower East (Sec. 115), the East Trailer (Gate 5), and Club Level. Remember, all transactions at Tim Hortons Field will be 100% cashless. Accepted forms of payment will include VISA, MasterCard, Debit, American Express and valid Tim Hortons Field gift cards. 

MOBILE TICKETS ONLY – Remember, Ticats games at Tim Hortons Field are mobile tickets only. Click here for instructions on how to get your game tickets on your phone, in advance of showing up to the stadium! Face Coverings – It is mandatory to wear a face covering that covers both the nose and mouth while inside the stadium perimeter.
