TICATS REMAIN SHARP IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE

After locking up a spot in the 2023 playoffs, the Ticats have ended the regular season with back-to-back competitive outings vs. the 12-6 BC Lions (33-30) and the 11-7 Montreal Alouettes (22-20).

With Coach Steinauer’s primary focus on November football and with starting quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell’s playing-time strategically regulated over the last two games, Hamilton is looking sharp as they prepare for the Eastern Semi-Final vs. the Als on Saturday November 4th.

They’ll have the trio of Mitchell, James Butler and Tim White to compliment an offence that his showcased it’s depth and adaptability throughout the entirety of the 2023 season.

In their last seven games, the Ticats have either won or come within four points of victory in six.

Since late August, the team has delivered statement performances including a 30-13 road win vs. the Lions and a 29-23 home win vs. the Blue Bombers—proof they can go blow for blow with any team in the league.

The playoffs will be familiar territory for Mitchell who won two Grey Cups with the Calgary Stampeders in 2014 and 2016 before donning the black and gold.

With Hamilton hosting Grey Cup 110, there will be no shortage of motivation heading into their Saturday showdown with Montreal.
