TIGER-CATS 2020 SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Highlights include Grey Cup rematch against Blue Bombers in home opener & afternoon kickoff for Labour Day Classic vs. Argonauts

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats 2020 schedule was announced Monday, featuring fan-friendly weekend options that dominate the team’s home portion of the calendar. The Ticats will kick off the schedule with a Grey Cup rematch against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in their home and regular season opener Saturday, June 13 at 7 p.m. The Labour Day Classic returns at a 1 p.m. timeslot when the Tiger-Cats host their oldest rivals, the Toronto Argonauts, in Hamilton on Monday September 7 at Tim Hortons Field.

“With seven of our nine regular season home games scheduled on a Friday or Saturday, and two afternoon kickoffs headlined by the annual Labour Day Classic, the Tiger-Cats’ schedule offers a great mix of fan-friendly options for everyone,” said Matt Afinec, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Tiger-Cats. “We look forward to welcoming back our amazing fans who’s energy and enthusiasm create the incredible atmosphere and home field advantage at Tim Hortons Field that contributed to our undefeated 10-0 record at home in 2019.”

Other returning specialty home games in 2020 include the Canadian Football Hall of Fame Game Saturday, August 15 against the Ottawa Redblacks and the Wall of Honour Game Friday, September 25 versus the Montreal Alouettes. A full gameday promotional schedule will be announced by the team at a later date.
