The Canadian Football League announced today, league All-Stars including Tiger-Cats receiver Tim White and defensive lineman Casey Sayles.
White earned his second consecutive CFL All-Star selection to go along with his three consecutive East Division All-Star nominations. The Santa Clarita, California native led the league with 1,269 receiving yards and ranked third in the league in receiving touchdowns (8) and targets (124), while also finishing seventh in receptions (75). The 29-year-old was also named the Tiger-Cats Most Outstanding Player and earned a spot on the CFL Honour Roll in week 12.
Sayles was named a CFL All-Star for the first time in his career after also earning his first career Divisional All-Star selection. The native of Omaha, Nebraska suited up in 17 games for the Tiger-Cats this year and led the club in quarterback sacks (7) and tackles for loss (5). The 28-year-old interior defensive lineman also ranked fifth in the league with 50 defensive tackles while his five tackles for loss ranked second in the CFL.
