Operations Team Member

Start Date: February 2022

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC are looking for energetic, passionate, and dedicated individuals to join our Operations Team. Successful applicants will join our Team in providing a world-class game-day experience throughout the 2022 season at Tim Hortons Field.

Responsibilities and Duties:                                           

  • Set-up and tear down of all game-day marketing and corporate activations
  • Set-up all premium and non-premium ticketing areas, including but not limited to the Club Level, Suite Level, and Coors Light Patio
  • Execute stadium conversion from Forge to Tiger-Cats and vice versa, including all in-bowl branding
  • Set-up of any event spaces utilized during games or on off days
  • Set-up all parking infrastructure and signage
  • Assist all other departments to ensure that the game-day experience is a success
  • Assist with stadium setup for licensee events
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions, including the possibility of inclement weather

Operations Team Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to work 75% of Tiger-Cats and Forge FC games
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Availability during weekdays is an asset, but not a requirement
  • Must comply with all Tiger-Cats and Forge FC personal hygiene and grooming guidelines

Customer Assistance Team

TERM LENGTH: March 2022 – December 2022


The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the Customer Assistance Team for the 2021 season! Each position plays an integral role in successfully creating and delivering a world-class guest experience at Tim Hortons Field. The Customer Assistance Team works all events at Tim Hortons Field. This includes: Hamilton Tiger-Cats home games, Forge FC home games, concerts and other sporting events.

This opportunity is perfect for anyone looking to gain experience working in event management, the sport and entertainment industry and who enjoys working in a team and customer facing environment.

Currently, game day opportunities are available to work Tiger-Cats games and the 108th Grey Cup. Additional opportunities to work other events may become available for team members at a later date.

Game day opportunities include:

  • Ticket Scanners (Welcome Team)
  • Ushers (Section Ambassadors)
  • Parking Attendants
  • All Access Team
  • 50/50 Ticket Seller


Ticket Scanners:

  • Greet all guests entering Tim Hortons Field in a friendly manner
  • Scan tickets upon guest entry and upon exit (through smoking gates ONLY)
  • Read tickets carefully to provide accurate directions to seating sections
  • Work efficiently in a team environment to minimize wait time and congestion at gates
  • Assist co-workers in other positions by covering for breaks


  • Check assigned section before events to ensure all seats are presentable and after events to identify any lost items
  • Correctly direct guests to their seats and to other areas of interest inside Tim Hortons Field
  • Monitor assigned section throughout events and resolve any minor issues or concerns that arise
  • Check to ensure that nobody encroaches on guests in accessibility seating
  • Hold guests at the top of assigned section while football plays are ongoing
  • Interact and converse with guests to enhance their overall experience at the venue

Parking Attendants:

  • Ensure only guests with appropriate parking passes are permitted into correct lots
  • Quickly process transactions for guests parking at paid lots
  • Efficiently and safely guide vehicles in an organized manner to parking spots within designated lots

All Access Team:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient process of fans using their All Access card/app or other payment methods at various concessions areas within Tim Hortons Field
  • Monitor concession areas to ensure that fans are prepared to use their All Access card/app or other payment methods
  • Answer all guest questions and inquiries regarding the All Access platform and concession payment systems
  • Communicate to fans the different features of the All Access platform

50/50 Ticket Seller:

  • Assist guests at Tiger-Cats games with purchasing, processing and printing 50/50 tickets at one of the fixed 50/50 locations at Tim Hortons Field
  • Answer all guest questions regarding the 50/50 draw at Tiger-Cats games
  • Work with other 50/50 ticket sellers to resolve issues regarding 50/50 sales and equipment
  • Please note that all 50/50 ticket sellers are paid a $50 honorarium after each game and not an hourly wage

Education and Experience:

  • Relatable experience in a previous role
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Interest in working in event management, the sport and entertainment industry and in a fan experience role
  • Experience in a front-line service or customer facing position
  • For 50/50 ticket seller role, experience with point of sale systems is considered an asset

Account Executive, Ticket Sales & Service

Position Title: Account Executive, Ticket Sales & Service
Department: Ticket Sales & Service
Immediate Supervisor(s): Director, Ticket Administration & Client Services
Term: Full Time


Account Executive, Ticket Sales & Service is responsible for generating new business ticket revenue and season seat retention. The role is primarily focused on selling new season seat packages, group ticket packages and flex pack tickets through targeted prospecting, face to face meetings and your own personal network. Season seat retention will also be an area of focus for this role. The primary focus is increasing revenue for the group sales and new business teams, while leveraging new and unique ideas that will create memorable experiences for fans. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of outbound sales experience.


The expectation is the candidate will be active and responsible for the following areas:

  • Prospect, engage and close group and new season seat sales through targeted prospecting, meetings and networking channels
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly/quarterly Ticketing team revenue and prospecting goals
  • This individual will be an important ambassador for the Club’s Business Development agenda. Candidate must be a problem-solver who is consistently focused on possibilities vs. limitations, employing a positive, collaborative team approach to all internal and external relations
  • Assist Group Sales and New Business Account Executives, ensuring revenue targets are being achieved
  • Work closely with Ticket Operations department to ensure accurate fulfillment of all ticket transactions
  • Participate in various Ticketing team and community events as assigned
  • Maintain accurate records in support of ticket sales and service efforts as defined by the organization
  • Other Tasks/Duties – Actively participate in Tiger-Cats gameday experience; attend all Tiger-Cats home games and will also assume other job function related duties not specifically defined in this offer as assigned by the candidate’s direct report

Measurements of Success

  1. Achieved or surpassed individual and Ticketing team revenue goals
  2. Establish a qualified prospect base through internal provided data, cold-calling, meetings and networking
  3. Actively participating in all ticket sales team meetings and events


Job Specific Skills and Abilities:

  • The successful candidate will have an established personal and professional network of contacts in the TigerTown region, with an emphasis placed on Hamilton and Greater Hamilton Area
  • Must be a great communicator!
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Has the ability to create, develop and nurture relationships
  • Is positive, outgoing and enjoys sales!
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Is self-motivated and gets out of bed every day excited about coming to work and driving revenue

 Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years applied sales experience
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing, business, sports administration or other related disciplines an asset


  • Will be required to work all home games, as well as weekends and evenings when necessary
  • Will be always required to have access to a vehicle

Retail Sales Associate

Retail Sales Associates will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service through the sales of retail merchandise at their assigned outlet. In this role, our staff will be focused on driving top line sales, strengthening an environment in which customer service is a top priority and offering our fans the best shopping experience available. Each individual will bring energy, inspiration and a drive to always be the best. Your passion, energy and excitement will be reflected through your interactions with our fans and is the foundation of our in-store culture.


  • Assist customers with locating suitable products, sizes, styles and colours
  • Handle a variety of payment options accurately and in a timely manner through our POS system (ERPLY)
  • Maintenance, merchandising and responsibility of an assigned store location
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through interactions during sales presentations
  • Respond to customer problems with a focus on problem resolution within pre-approved limits
  • Seek customer feedback about Ticats products, services and events
  • Performs other duties as delegated or assigned by the Warehouse/Online Lead, Operations Manager, Director of Corporate Partnerships and Retail and other Senior Management
