GLENN, STALA NAMED CFL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Hamilton, Ontario – A pair of Hamilton Tiger-Cats earned CFL Player of the Week honours today, as quarterback Kevin Glenn was named Offensive Player of the Week and Dave Stala was named Canadian Player of the Week.
Glenn completed 29 of 36 pass attempts (81%) for 340 yards and three touchdowns during the Ticats 28-7 victory over the Blue Bombers last Friday. He opened the game by completing 14 consecutive passes. Glenn has thrown for 889 yards, five touchdowns and completed 70% of his pass attempts through three games this season.
Stala led all Ticats receivers with nine receptions for 124 yards on Friday night, making eight of those catches in the first half. Stala has caught 17 passes for 189 yards so far this season.
