Acquired:

Jevoni was selected in round one  (7^th overall) by the Lions in the 2023 Global Draft.

Highlights:

2023: Jevoni was added to the roster of St. Louis Battlehawks of XFL in February. The global receiver later joined the Lions at training camp. He played in two pre-season games against the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders. Jevoni caught a touchdown against the Riders from quarterback, Dane Evans. Jevoni would be placed on practice roster for the rest of the season.

2021: Jevoni joined The Spring League with the Sea Lions as a tight end.

2019: Jevoni spent time with the now defunct San Antonio Commanders of the AAF.

2018: Without playing football since high school, Jevoni showed off his 4.59 40-yard dash speed and a 40-inch vertical. The Houston Texans offered him a contract. He would go on to attend training camp and appeared in one pre-season game.

2016-2017: Signed and played professional basketball in Italy for the Angri Pallacanestro.

College:

2015: Jevoni was a graduate transfer at Barry University where he played 31 games, averaging 5.4 points per game. He recorded his first career double-double against Florida Tech. He was a dominant defender in the paint, recording 42 blocks in one season, ranking him sixth in school single-season history.

2014: Jevoni appeared in five games for the NC State Wolfpack basketball program.

2013: Jevoni was a walk-on for the NC State basketball team. Jevoni was spotted playing pickup basketball by the Wolfpack’s team manager at the time. He also contacted the associate head coach about joining the team. Jevoni appeared in 12 games in the 2013 season.

Personal:

The 6’7’’ 240-pound Jamaican-American athlete played multiple sports; including football at Independence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jevoni was a finance major at NC State and pursued a master’s degree in sport management at Barry University.
