Highlights:

2023: Before landing with the Lions, Usher played in five games with the Alouettes while recording five defensive tackles and a sack. Nick joined the Lions in August and played his first game in Lions uniform against his former team in Week 13. Nick appeared in four total games for the Lions and registered one tackle against the Ottawa REDBLACKS in Week 15.

2022: Suited up in all 18 regular season contests for Montreal and would rack up 29 defensive stops and three sacks.

2021: Nick signed with the Montreal Alouettes as a free agent and would go on to suit up in all 14 regular season contests. Recorded 34 defensive tackles and four sacks in the shortened season.

2020: Signed with the Las Vegas Raiders following the cancellation of the 2020 CFL campaign and was waived during training camp with an injury designation.

2019: Suited up in all 18 regular season contests with Edmonton, racking up a career-high six sacks to go with 36 defensive tackles. Appeared in both the Eastern Semi-Final and Eastern Final.

2018: Nick played in six contests with Edmonton and racked up seven defensive tackles and a sack.

2017: Signed with the Seattle Seahawks as a non-drafted free agent. Following his release in late July, Nick landed with the New England Patriots and appeared in one pre-season contest. Landed with the Edmonton practice roster in October of that year.

College:

2013-16: Nick attended the University of Texas at El Paso from 2013-16, wrapping up his college career by earning Conference USA Honourable Mention as a senior after racking up 77 total tackles, a team-leading eight tackles for a loss plus five-and-a-half sacks and a pair of pass knockdowns.

In 49 total games with the Miners, Usher recorded 179 total tackles, 23.5 tackles for a loss, three pass knockdowns, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
