Welcome To TigerTown

Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today the launch of their new multi-year “TigerTown” marketing campaign.

“I’d like to personally welcome every one of our fans to TigerTown,” said president Scott Mitchell. “We want to make everyone understand that even if they are not in Hamilton, they are all part of TigerTown. No matter where you live whether it is Vancouver, Halifax, or anywhere in between, if you are a Tiger-Cats fan you are a part of TigerTown.”

TigerTown will officially kick-off with the 2nd annual Ticats State Of The Franchise event on Monday night at the Hamilton Convention Centre. For the rest of the week Ticats players and staff will hit the road in Hamilton and surrounding communities making appearances at local elementary schools and hospitals. In the evening, players and staff will head to local Boston Pizza locations where all fans are invited to come out for a meet and greet event. Locations for this week’s appearances are listed below.

  • Tuesday, May 6th – Ticats visit St. Catharines
  • Wednesday, May 7th – Ticats visit Brantford
  • Thursday, May 8th – Ticats visit Guelph

TigerTown is a community made up of all Ticats fans, young and old, local and across the country. It’s about belonging to a place that isn’t limited by the geographical boundaries or city limits. It instills a sense of belonging to all of its residents based on the support of a common team and a common goal. It is made up of players, fans, staff, coaches, alumni, surrounding communities, corporate and community partners, media partners and everyone with a passion for Ticats football. While we may physically live in St. Catharines, Niagara, Guelph, Brantford, Burlington, Hamilton, Tokyo, Paris or wherever, residents of these communities and so many more are all part of TIGERTOWN.
